A furniture maker in Arizona, Marc Spagnuolo also hosts a woodworking video podcast. Spagnuolo first got into woodworking as a hobby, but soon discovered that he was very passionate about it. He went on to train as an apprentice with woodworking personality David Marks and created a podcast that showcases the craft.
Marc started The Wood Whisperer in 2006, and has since written dozens of books, created content, and hosted a number of events. He is an introvert, but has found success in the woodworking industry. His book teaches both hand-tool and power-tool techniques.
Shannon Woodwhisperer
Shannon Woodwhisperer is a professional woodworker and blogger. She has taught woodworkers on six continents. Her blog is called Renaissance Woodworking, and she teaches woodworking with hand tools through a paid membership site, The Hand Tool School. She is launching a new podcast in 2019.
Shannon received her B.A. in Political Science from George Washington University, where she also minored in Sustainability Studies and Journalism & Mass Communications. She is currently working on a Master of Political Science (MPS) in Legislative Affairs at GW’s Graduate School of Political Management. Her interests include camping, visiting National Parks, and taking her labradoodle for walks.
